Worst service ever. “Unlimited” but only a few gb of high speed that will only last 2-3 weeks and we only have 2 people in our household. Apparently we were tied to a 12 month contract and when that ended I tried to cancel and all of a sudden it turns into a 24 month contract. Called to complain on a day that it wasn’t working at all and they said that they could not do anything and on that day we used up 60GB!! Once our first year ended they added fees without telling us and DOUBLED our bill, saying that we had been on a special discount that was only good for three months. For three months we paid about $130 without realizing. Surprisingly, after we began to pay more, our GB lasted throughout the entire month and we were still on the same plan. This WiFi glitches all the time and doesn’t reach our entire home. Since it is satellite, every time I would call for support, their excuse was always the weather.

I am so mad that I didn’t consult the reviews before getting this service. It is the worst service I’ve ever had for any service out there. It is supposed to be home WiFi , free installation except for the $50 they charge for installation so lie number one . Lie number two a single person that does not game at all should be great with the 100 gb , huge lie ! I used that in the first week now I have zero service . I’ve bought 3 tokens now for extra 100 gb 3timed they last maybe 24 hours if your lucky . Not sure if I signed a contract but I’m guessing they snuck one in . Terrible , awful , pathetic , the worst don’t buy this WiFi ! You will hate it so much and I’m not joking .

Anyone who has Hughesnet most likely has very little to no other option because there’s no way anyone is out here electively choosing this 1990 service for wifi!! However if you happen to be reading this because you’re looking for the best service here are the pros and cons Pro: it is available when most nothing else is… this is also a con because they know it. That’s it, no other pros! Con: 1. Customer service does NOT care about your complaint of any kind. They do not care so don’t waste you’re time. 2. If you live in a household with more than 2 people do not expect 100 GB to last you all month. Actually don’t expect it to last you a week. 3. When you upgrade your plan from 100 to 200 and you will, don’t expect that to last either. 4. You can go from 100 gb to 0 in 24 hours and when you call to ask how that’s possible they just blame it on a gaming console even though no one was on it and that’s not possible… back to # 1 they do not care!! 5. The price (eye roll) 6. do NOT buy their tokens. This is where they get you and they know it 7. If it’s raining it doesn’t work 8. If the wind is blowing it doesn’t work 9. Did I say customer service 10. All of it If you can get Starlink I would highly recommend doing that and fyi they have dropped their start up price -> run don’t walk to do this instead!! Good luck!
