App constantly acts like his has never been setup. I have 30+ times. Tried to change SSID like 20 times. App Would restart the setup process and skip the wifi selection (which is the only thing I wanted to do) Finally figured out you have to use a direct robot name or it won’t allow you to change the WiFi network. Mind bogglingly stupid…. Interacted with support several occasions. They gave me incorrect procedures to “reset” the hardware to clear the previous SSID. They refused to send my feedback to the product manager that the 2.4GHz Only wifi requirement is about 15 years out of date with the reality of what access points are currently sold and in use. Generally unfriendly and not helpful. The hardware is overpriced for what it does as well. Great example of what happens when there is not enough competition in a market.

Guys I’m not gonna list what ALL THE REVIEWS already do. Then your response is the same. I use a lot of products and apps I’ve never seen anything as poorly managed as Maytronics’ review response and why you won’t hire whoever is necessary to to fix your app control etc ? With Maytronics only I App upgrades being 1 yr , then 2 YEARS, etc between upgrades says it all. I bet you do care & I bet it can’t be fixed . You should win back all your customers and sell them new improved cleaners for your cost or free . You really have pushed off people that bad. It’s not right. We all spent between $700-$1500 on something that costs you so much less and for what? Case in point, I bet your response is the same all stupid automated answer of contact us so we can discuss it further which is a joke I’ve contacted your customer service department more than 75 times over three years!!!!!

For years I had a Polaris to clean my pool with never an issue but after owning it for 15 years I thought it was time for some new technology. Boy am I sorry I chose the Dolphin. I have had nothing but trouble. The app doesn’t work on an iPhone. I cannot get my dolphin to register any cleaning modes and all customer service told me after the usual delete and reinstall the app was my dolphin was purchased a year and a half ago and it’s out of warranty. Needless to say I live in the northeast and only used it for one summer before these issues. It’s clearly an app issue because my pool company was able to get it to work on their Samsung phone. I’m so disgusted.
