The UI is very clunky, files aren’t properly sorted and there are no sorting options, and album art does not display. Despite this, it’s one of the only MPD clients in the App Store, and doesn’t require payment or a subscription service.
I would love to love this, but I cannot. Connections are hit and miss; and even if it successfully connects, then upon selecting Playlists it hangs, fails, and disconnects again sadly.
App connected easily to my raspberry pi volumio player. Menu to show albums spins the wheel endlessly with no results. Artist list works, but drilling down through albums doesn't show song titles. Song search doesn't work. When one song is selected, the view jumps to the playlist, requiring drilling down again to select another song. Frustrating. App is slow and sometimes hangs for a few moments. App needs a lot of improvement in performance. No graphic indicator of song progress. MPod is much better.
