It has been impossible for me to make my payments on the website for some months. I have tried Google, Firefox, and Safari. So, it is a relief to be able to make a payment on the app because it is quite easy to navigate. I hope others don’t have the same problem, specially the elder that might have some initial obstacles with apps. Of course, there are many that don’t have this problem.

So with the super low interest rates, we re-financed our mortgage with RocketMortgage. Their app was pretty good. I became a bit concerned when a no-name lender (PHH) bought our mortgage. Even though it’s only been one month, I’m already extremely disappointed. This app is clunky, unstable & really just miserable to try using. The inability to schedule a specific date for your payment is absolutely unacceptable! Then once you find the app won’t allow a specific date to be chosen, it locks up & will not allow you to back out. Only option is to close the app & log back in. Which by the way is sketchy as well. At times I’m not allowed to log into my own account, or given a prompt stating I’m not authorized to make electronic payments. The developers should consider basic functionality rather than throwing in duplicate info such as home values in my neighborhood. I presume they’ve heard of Zillow? If rates keep dropping, I may consider another refi just to escape this piece of crap app!

Is this a glitch in the app? There is no option to select a specific day to make a payment. Anytime I try to schedule a later date it says invalid must schedule date before “today’s date”, which defeats the purpose of scheduling a payment. It’s a bit inconvenient to have to log in on a specific date I want to pay vs being able to schedule a payment on the day I wish to pay. Also after attempting to choose the date the app’s screen freezes. You can no longer click to pay or exit out. You have to kill the app then login again. It’s a bit troublesome at the moment. I hope these are simply glitches and they can be fixed with an update.
