Mira Showers

I purchased the Mira Platinum dual ceiling mount digital shower in April, fitted it without any issues to my combo boiler. It all worked fine but had issue when I changed my Wi-Fi server at the beginning of June, I found out too late that the unit needs to be disconnected from the old Wi-Fi before setting up the new one. Once the new system was set up the shower would not connect. Fortunately I spoke to a super friendly person at Mira customer care and they sent me a new Wi-Fi controller which was easily fitted into the controller in the loft. Once fitted it all connected like a dream and we now have again a fully functioning shower. I have been informed by Mira technical team that they are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. This is a super shower experience with just a small issue.

I’m pretty tech savvy but using so many different iOS devices i can only pair via bluetooth. Seem to be running activate version 8 and trying to pair to a tp link deco even having disabled 5ghz wifi. Tried everything and no joy. All goes wrong after having entered wifi password for my network, app tells me its failed time and time again after entering the password and waiting til im guessing til the app times out and throws the failed error at me. Cant get user profiles to sync over bluetooth and read this is due to activate being prior to version 9 software but without wifi connection i cannot update software to gain the functionality i were sold on. Update: mira sent a replacement wifi module and all has been great since for the last month.

This app used to be a disaster. Crashing, long loading times, and disconnecting from the shower. They have worked out some of the bugs. The crashes don’t happen anymore, and I haven’t been disconnected from the shower since the recent update. I just wish I didn’t have to log into the app just to monitor my usage and change the shower settings.
