MGM Rewards MasterCard

I give up. I just wrote a long explanation but am now changing stars as I was being generous with 3 but am now giving a 2 (should be a one but I’m trying to give the benefit of the doubt). It literally just deleted my ENTIRE FEEDBACK MSG MGM CS is closed. Guess I’ll just hope and pray things go better. I had problems the very first time dealing with the “free parking” for CC holders and better not be running into that because its the whole reason I got the MGM credit card was for the free parking…. Ow I can’t use it to buy my entertainment tkts @ the MGM!? Nothing seems to work, even after waiting in line for a Pearl card. Staying at the Signature again has me afraid the probs will persist. Especially with this repeated decline (4+ times after 7 attempts) all transactions showing on the MGM app charged then refunded… and this for the SECOND purchase of entertainment tickets I was ensured I could have the tkts for wrong day refunded… These probs better not continue cuz no one wants to wait in that line in the casino for help while our precious vacay time is melting away.

This is an easy card to manage the app. It’s very very rudimentary simple but they have been updating it throughout the years to make it more efficient. I am a noir MGM player and enjoy having this card to support my tier status, purchases, and extra points. It’s specifically for that as it provide no other benefit if you are not a player. My biggest gripe is it no longer links to my Wealthfront bank that consolidates much of financial assets. It used to work but somewhere in 2025 it unlinked and no longer links or passed data to them.

The app itself needs work. The bankers can’t make changes to the app so you will get added and hidden fees if you don’t make the changes yourself and it’s difficult to do when the app wont allow you to delete account information. This card offers no real rewards other than a few points here and there. The bankers customer service find it easier to place blame on their customers rather than show empathy or apologize once in a while. This card will also charge you interest on a zero balance even after you pay it all off in full. The penalty charges or interest add ten dollars every time after you make a mistake and they will only remove one fee but your stuck paying the rising fees. Just get a different credit card, this one is too much hassle and the app doesn’t give notifications.
