I turned to this app just to check out if it worked properly, my first concern was there’s probably a lot of scammers out there. 1st day trying it out and I failed to speak with anyone for about 2-3 tries until finally someone didn’t hung up immediately, had a conversation for about half an hr with a Malaysian girl and it was the most positive and comfortable experience talking about our different cultures and food, I truly enjoyed the time. Now the most annoying and sad thing about this app is that of course you have to either watch ads or spend money to get some currency to speak with people, it’s a sad reality, but with some trying you can find some interesting people who will speak to you comfortably.

So I downloaded Maum on a random day when my mind was doing too much, and I wasn’t expecting much tbh but wow, it’s honestly one of the most peaceful apps I’ve ever used. The vibe is soft, the interface is clean, and it just feels like the app gets you. It’s not loud or chaotic like most apps that drain your energy. Maum is that quiet little space you open when life feels messy. The prompts actually make you think like not in a forced therapy way, but in a gentle “hey, how are you really?” kind of way. I’ve started journaling more, reflecting more, and I actually look forward to using it every day now. It’s perfect for anyone who’s trying to slow down, heal, or just find a bit of peace in between the noise. The whole experience feels mindful, cozy, and honestly kinda sacred.
