Mancala (Kalah) and Friends

This game should be great!! but too bad there aren’t enough real people with the game downloaded so instead of playing with real people, 90% of the time it’s bots with generic names who play the same way every time. I’m trying to play with real people but the game developers have put bots in to play when no real people are available to play. Another issue, when you’re on a winning streak, the game will inhibit you from winning more than 5 games in a row by not giving you the first move, and using higher skill bots just so you don’t win too much. Why is there no ranking system? at least for the 4 REAL people who actually play the game. don’t even try to tell me that it’s not bots, only 1000~ people have this game downloaded and you’re trying to tell me that Melinda and Wanda are on this game 24/7????? ok hun. the ads are out of control too. like i know you need the ad revenue to pay for your bots Jessica and Christina to keep operating but good god the ads are constant.

This app has been my favorite app for at least a year now. It has always worked perfectly besides a few bugs here and there that I never minded. I love that you can play online and for the most part always find someone decent to play. But for the last month or so this app has not been working for me at all. It never lets me play players online. It either doesn’t load, force closes, or only lets me play “opponent” whom NEVER plays his turn. OR when it does load it only allows me to play the “online opponents like Melina Holmes, or Becky” who are CLEARLY computer players, because their moves are ALWAYS the same, and that’s just no fun at all. I’ve tried everything from updating my phone, to deleting the app all together and reinstalling which only made me lose ALL my chips which was well over 100,000... which I wouldn’t have minded if the app worked after that.... but sadly, it didn’t :( Please help me get my favorite app back. Idk if there needs to be an update or what, but please just help. I don’t want to resort to finding a new mancala app. Looking at the reviews I see other people are having the same problem. So maybe an update is for sure needed. Thank you in advance!

I like the opportunity to play against unknown opponents online! I'd like to see the offline play mixed up a little more so I had to learn new moves. Currently the computers game isn't very challenging. One thing that I find frustrating is that in a draw match the wager isn't returned. Both players lose their bet, which doesn't seem very fair. Since there's no monetization, it seems dumb for the app to tick off two of its customers for no reason. Besides that, the game play is lots of fun and an enjoyable distraction! Came back to complain about the draw match again. Very frustrating. Reducing my review one star.
