Hello! Stumbled on your game while searching for my own app, Comet Car (similar game tbh lol), and I fell in love with LittleSmallPlanet! Really fun and neat arcade game, music was okay, and all the extra worlds and cars definitely give me motivation to play more. I’ll tell my family about this one, it’s that good. For some critiques, however, a major improvement this game needs is polish for the UI. It’s pretty bare bones which doesn’t serve to add to the art style that your app presents. Not to mention the buttons are sometimes too small to properly press. A UI update would drastically improve the flow and character this game already has with its art style. A place of improvement for the UI, actually, that would dispel confusion would be in presenting the controls. At first I was confused on how the car moved, whether it was a tap and the game would be like an endless runner where the player would move immediately left and immediately right via tap. I figured it out but this is an example of improving the UI to not only enhance the visuals but also present information effectively. Gameplay wise, it’s hard to tell what exactly kills you, as there are some rocks that look like you’ll need to avoid when you can really just drive over them. Also, sometimes I will hit an object but it won’t kill me if I keep driving around it. Could be you being generous with the hit boxes and lose conditions, but something more concrete would help. Finally, some miscellaneous things. The ads show up pretty infrequently. Not sure your monetization model, but don’t be shy about adding a bit more frequency to the ads. I was actually surprised that one appeared after a long while of playing. Also, you may want to switch the genre of this game to arcade as it doesn’t fit into the racing genre mold. I can’t wait for further updates and I’ll be sure to check out your other apps, keep doing a good job!
