Got a KoreScale for Christmas. Both husband and I bought the Premium subscription for data tracking ($20/month each—ugh but fine). Work for only two weeks. Then on the same day, neither of us could log into the App and trying to reset password resulted in a error message. I deleted and reinstalled the app—nope. I even tried a new registration using a different email address. Nope—didn’t work. So I contacted KoreHealth Support online….no response. Then I tried their online chat feature….clearly run by an AI Bot, got a generic response of “transferring you to someone who can assist”, but then no response. So then I tried the customer service number. There was no answer. I left a message and got no response. Then I sent an email message to the customer service email address (which was challenging to find because it isn’t listed on their “contact us” page of the website) and have received no response. The issues with the app have been frustrating, particularly because it is a paid subscription. But that in combination with the lack of customer service or any semblance of communication gives me no confidence in the company. This is not a worthwhile investment for a smart scale/App. I have cancelled my Premium subscription and already bought a different smart scale.

I have used this watch and app for almost a week now. The step tracker is definitely not accurate. It told me I had 2000+ steps when I was just sitting. I don’t know what triggers it to detect steps but the only thing I was moving were my arms, It does give heart rate and oxygen levels and the sleep detection seems to work, but I don’t know how reliable the info is. My biggest problem with the app is that when it disconnects from my iPhone and I hit the pair button it just keeps buffering forever until I turn off my phone and restart it. This happens every time. Other than that the app seems to work ok.

I want to say it’s a great watch but I’m not sure I can. The whole reason I got it was to track my mileage when I run so that I don’t have to carry my phone. Unfortunately, that seems to be the only function this fitness watch cannot do. I ran my usual run around my neighborhood, and it said I ran .2 miles. That doesn’t make sense because, as long as I can remember, running around my neighborhood was AT LEAST a mile! At school I ran what should’ve been almost 3 miles, and the watch recorded it as less than a mile! This has happened so many times, and it is very frustrating that I know I’m running more than what it says, but I can’t know exactly how much I’ve run! Today I decided to use an app on my phone to track my run. It recorded it as 1.09 miles. What did my Kore 2.0 get? 0.2 MILES! Why is the mileage tracker so incorrect? Now I can’t use the watch for the one function I got it for. All the other things the watch can do work fine, but if you want to track miles, get another, more accurate fitness tracker. And please, developers, PLEASE fix the mile tracking. Otherwise this was a waste of money.
