Knotmania

Touch detection need to improve. It can be enjoyable but when you’re touching it and nothings happening, it’s frustrating especially when you’re trying to do the same thing multiple times.

This game is amazing. I’d play it all day if I could, but it’s kinda... how do I say this? Too hard...? Now, I’m not trying to be mean or anything! The timers are really short for such hard puzzles and the string tangle THEMSELVES up. If you could remove that feature I would greatly appreciate it, as well as the timer being removed or lengthened. I also do love the fact that there are no “lives” on this game. (Please don’t add lives) But if you read this thanks, but don’t let this review get you down! I’d still highly recommend this game. EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: Thanks, but the worm things moving back after I almost untie them is still kinda frustrating. 😖 Also, how do you switch to zen mode?

Update: there is a mode to play without time limits, so I’ll bump up to three stars. It’s gorgeous and unique. But hampered by inaccurate touch detection and time limits. It would be much more enjoyable if there were a option to just untangle the knots and enjoy the experience rather than racing against a clock. Part of the appeal of this game is simply enjoying the physics engine and watching the knots respond to touches.
