Kitty Cat Resort : cat games

First, I’ve only ever written one other review ever so i hope y’all appreciate this :) Second, I love this game. I do really appreciate the thought you guys put into it. Animation and design are great—superior to other pet games for sure. And everything I can do keeps me really interested in the game (I’m biased though because I love cats). I love the visiting other islands and giving likes feature because I like to support people. :) Overall, I feel very incentivized to keep playing daily. So yay good on you. Some critiques: 1. I want a costume shop where I can buy what costumes I want instead of paying for mystery costumes. Basically, I like my cats to look cute. I bought the ballerina set and it looks so adorable on my Lala and I want all my cats to look as cute as she does, but with the mystery box feature, I sometimes get ugly ones and it feels like I wasted my diamonds. That being said, thank you for letting us keep costumes invisible while still being able to get the gold bonus on our cats. I don’t want to feel like the costumes are a complete waste when I get them. At least they give bonus. 2. I want to be able to follow more people. Like as many as I want. 3. The cats get glitchy sometimes. 4. One more thing I can think of: ur chat is a lil off. Commas and apostrophes we can’t use and we “cannot properly vibe” without emojis says user leaf. Would much appreciate a chat update. Thank you!!

I originally downloaded this after seeing an ad for a little black Kitty in a Halloween costume. I thought maybe I could unlock or create all the little black cats. Just one giant island full of black kitties dressed in spooky outfits. Totally not what the game was offering, sadly. I’ve been playing since the very end of December maybe? It’s been a good distraction from my dog’s passing. That being said, I’m still having tons of fun! I don’t love all the breeds and cats that are available. I do love how that cats just take off in a full blown sprint over nothing like real cats do. I also don’t like how tedious it is to get things I would really love to have without spending money. But, it’s not impossible to get items without spending money. You just have to wait A LOT longer to get them. And work a lot harder. You can also decorate your islands. They have really cute options but I would love to see dead trees as an option! Maybe even fog? Color palette changes for facilities you’ve leveled completely? Maybe lamps that glow?

I expected to enjoy this game, because I’m a cat lover, but I didn’t expect to love it so much! What is winning me over is how charming and realistic the cats’ personalities are. They do all the things real cats do, from getting the zoomies, to chasing grasshoppers, to arching and swatting and hissing at new cats, to hacking up hairballs, to licking their — bits. (Ok, in the game they don’t go quite all the way, they more lick at their leg, but you know how cats are!) The only major behavior I haven’t seen yet is a cat knocking something off a table or shelf. That would be fun to see! If I could have one wish for future versions of the game, it would be having the ability to “build” our own cat character, like you can create a specific Sims character. I’ve found some cats in the game that look like ones I’ve owned or that friends have owned, and I’ve started naming them after those cats. But there are a few cats I’ve known that aren’t portrayed in the currently available color patterns. For example, I used to have a beautiful Turkish Angora named Emma. She was white, but had a gray tail and a gray spot that covered one ear and one eye. She was gorgeous. I just thought it would be fun to be able to modify the current Turkish Angora to look more like her. If you’re looking for a relaxing, fun game that will make you smile, this is perfect for you.
