Love killer burger! Take all my out of town friends here so we don’t have to debate vs other burger chains. Everyone agrees killer burger is a fantastic burger. But this dannnm app. The worst. Clunky functionality. Always changing what you can add to your order. But what really frustrates me the most is their lame rewards program. Wow. Thanks for the free sauce! Or a buy one dessert! How about want a “free” fry or burger? Oh you have to earn 4 puzzle pieces. But when you need your last one that’s when they reward you with a free sauce. Seriously? Sauce should already be free with purchase. Don’t over complicate this. I should know if I order 10 times I get my 11th meal free. Even 20 times. I’d rather have zero reward than be insulted with a free sauce!! Haha rant over. Seriously tho. Fix this
I live like 2 blocks away and always pre-order my food (I have chronic illness and need to get in and out sometimes). I eat there a good amount. The new update forces you to agree to marketing messages in order to access ordering?!?!?! Why? You have my number for order updates and logging in but I don’t want marketing texts from you! Sigh. I guess I’ll just order pizza tonight and from now on. That’s technically closer to me.
First time using the app and I couldn’t press the far left or right bottom menu buttons (which included the order button 🤦♀️). None of the fields properly use the native auto complete. Editing a burger in your cart doesn’t allow you to modify the items on the burger unless you change the type first, meaning for example you have to change it to a double and back to a single in order to modify the item. No Apple Pay support. I got a reward of fries for signing up (yay!) that I couldn’t redeem (boo!). During sign up there’s a “email opt-in” checkbox that is checked by default with no indicator that unchecking it won’t let you register. I’m assuming this is a simple white label of a mediocre PWA that Paytronix or whatever they are called uses for all of their clients, which kind of makes the issues more disappointing since you’d think improvements from other clients would make each new one a better experience. Well there’s some free QA notes for you… Killer Burger I hope your not hurt by the meh app experience because your food is great!
