I have been shopping with Karen Miles for several years but have see the customer service absolutely plummet. The only option is text and it typically takes 24 hours to get a response and if you don’t get a satisfactory response you just have to start over, there is no consistent communication with one person. I bough their premium membership which should have given me free shipping for one year, halfway through the year they decided not to honor it anymore and basically said, “sorry, not sorry”. No refund for the membership I bought and flat out refusal to help in anyway. Additionally, returns are a massive hassle and you will have to fight to get your money refunded. If you are expecting them to care about you as a customer or your experience you will be sadly mistaken. Jo neatly the worst retailer I have ever worked with.
Customer Service Regarding Defective Coat I purchased a beautiful blush wool blend coat that came incompletely finished. The collar of the coat did not have the wool material sewn to it. There was only the raw interfacing material showing on the underside of the collar which could be seen from the outside of the coat. I emailed customer service, and with proof of pictures, they gladly returned it stating that delivery would be credited. I asked to get another because there was only one left in the size I ordered. The rep emailed back that they were out of stock, which at the time, was not true. I emailed back and stated that was not the case and asked if I could receive the same discount of 25% off as a new user. I stated the urgency of the situation as only one coat was left in stock in an 8. They stated they would reply in 48 hours. However, they did not reply for 4 days and by that time the coat had sold out in that size. I ended up going a size smaller without room for any bulky sweaters. It was also only 20% off. They emailed back and stated they would not honor the 25% off even though this was their error. I will NEVER buy Karen Millen again despite the great silhouettes and quality of materials used. I had been searching for this color and silhouette for 10 years. When I finally found it, it turned into a nightmare due to poor customer service. If the current purchase comes to me in any way but perfect, I will be writing another review and involve my credit card company in getting my funds returned to me. Customer service is lacking in this current generation. I cannot stress this enough. It spans globally and I encourage others who experience the same to boycott this brand or any brand that treats its customers this way.
I think Karen Millen is one of the best designers or this company is super fashionable. However, the website navigation is not the easiest. Having said that, that doesn’t stop me from buying their stuff.
