As someone whoโs not a huge fan of mobile games, I was very surprised when this game became one of my favourite cozy games ever. Iโm an avid Stardew Valley player and this game is the same concept but with a much more cinematic feel to it. I love how much it teaches you about Japanese culture, food and festivals and how you can play at your own pace. The pixel art is beautiful and the game mechanics are really well suited for mobile. The mini games are very well thought-out and make most tasks not feel so repetitive. The cooking reminds me of Cooking Mama and the fishing is like Animal Crossing. Making pottery is really fun too. I do wish that the navigating was better. I find that there are too many objects your character can get stuck on and I wish the trackpad you can enable in the settings wasnโt so finicky. I also think this game desperately needs to show what items are needed for the entire task before initiating it. It shows what is needed for each step of the task but Iโve had a few instances where I was unable to complete something because I didnโt have the right items and Itโs hard to coordinate having enough coins and buying the items you need since the old peddler lady and the man in the truck are not available at the same time. I hope the developer adds more customization options too! I would love to be able to customize my character or change the pathways or have more options for decorations. Overall, Iโd recommend this game to any cozy gamer. Especially people who love Stardew :)
I absolutely love this game! I found it about a year ago and played pretty much every day for a while, but then life happened and I forgot it. I came back a few days ago as life had slowed down some and I had a free time period every day where I was limited in what I could do. This game is perfect for that!! I actually find myself wondering if places like these actually exist as I would love to move into a house like this and fix it up a bit, grow my own food, fish, forage, etc. I do wish we could talk to the tourists (perhaps see what they like and what they want from the town, more festivals maybe? Or adding a bath house?). The daily good deed is exciting, and I really enjoy having helped this little town. I saw there was a โnew updateโ but Iโm still working on the original task list from the mayor. I was surprised to find that different fish werenโt actually only located in certain spots or times of day, same with the bugs. I did just see an owl for the first time though! Overall, as a busy mom who isnโt the best at video games, I absolutely love this one as itโs fairly easy to pick up and navigate, as well as having lots to do without feeling overwhelming. Iโd like to see more interaction with other characters like townspeople and tourists, maybe new recipes, animals, bugs, etc. But at the same time, for me just trying to get the whole yearโs events done in only one game year is quite a challenge by itself! Wonderful game youโve made!
