If you’re traveling to Istanbul, get this app. It contains a complete tour of Istanbul in 1 day. What I am so impressed with is the built in and eloquently spoken tour guide. The way it works is it guides you through the heart of the historic district, visiting iconic sites, one stop at a time, as you walk along the route. It maps out each stop in app. But what’s amazing is it has an audio feature that narrates the rich history of each stop and it’s significance. A really neat thing about Apple is you can program the apps audio to your spoken language. This is by far better than any traditional tour guide because you can go at your own pace over a few days if necessary. Fifty stops are available and the first few are free. The full version at the price of a cup of coffee is a must have if your wanting to really soak in all the sites.
