Pepperfry Furniture Store

So I placed an order for a similar wardrobe for my parents and there was some confusion about the color so I cancelled it within 4-5 hours on a Republic Day holiday. It was a holiday the order did not go through and yet they charged me 2.5% cancellation fee. I called back on there working day to check if there is a way to revert the cancellation charges offering to buy another wardrobe or same wardrobe but they refused.. like you charged me cause I was cancelling and then you wouldn’t let me in cancel the cancellation request all within the working day what kind of cheat and thug practice is that. Very disappointed

The after sales service is very disappointing. Two years back I had bought a temple which had a crack in its joint. We contacted customer service to request replacement of the damaged item, but despite several follow-ups, we have not received a proper response or replacement. Recently, we ordered a wardrobe and a center table and we are waiting for their carpenter from yesterday . He was supposed to come yesterday at 4:00 pm but did not come and no one has the answer for this. Customer care says he will come at 6 pm. If he doesn't come by 6 pm, we should call back tomorrow. and keep asking When I called one of the people in the shop with whom we transacted, he told me that he was sick and that customer care would take care of it. Does it mean that if he is sick then there is no one else who can answer in his place ? The company is responsible for providing good service, and should provide all necessary information before the customer asks for it.
