Dollar Shave Club

I’ve been using the club for several years now. I just discovered their app when they offered their new ball spray when you signed up. I love the new spray. Unfortunately I got an email yesterday saying they were out of stock already. Really out of stock in less than a month? Someone needs to written up and or fired. Funny thing is I used to use their hair products until they ran out of stock a few years ago. I never used hair gel products until I was a member with DSC. I went out and found another product that I actually like better and have never looked back at DSC hair products. When I got the email last night I figured I would check the web for another similar product. I found another product and if I like it better DSC they can shoot themselves in the foot again. I participated in a survey last month too and explained my displeasure of them charging my credit card and not shipping my box out for a couple of weeks. I’ve never received a reply from the company yet. Management really needs to pull this company back together. There is to much other competition on the web and I would hate to see them fail. Sorry but constructive criticism is needed sometimes.

First of all, WOW. I was not expecting everything I got when I ordered my first trial set from DSC. Not only do I love their shaving products, which suddenly became a new necessity when I started hormone replacement therapy and realized shaving my face was completely foreign to me. I’m officially hooked on their hand cream, cleanser, and body wash now too. I can’t wait for my next box to try out some more products, especially the acne eraser which I have high hopes for (puberty part two is wrecking my skin.) The prices are great, especially for the product quality, and they offer sample sizes of a bunch of products so I can try before I commit to something that may not work well for me. I suffer from migraines that are often triggered by strong scents and I haven’t had an issue with ANY of their products, which is impressive for things that smell so good. I also love the articles on the app, they make for good stress-free scrolling in the bathroom or on my breaks at work. One of them even convinced me to start carrying a pocket comb! Excellent for self care, and way better for my mental health than scrolling through social media while providing something to do. I love everything about this service and app, I’ve been telling all my friends about it. Thank you!

I was very skeptical about how good the quality of the razors would be with how cheap the price was, but with how much my Venus razor refills cost and with so many daughters... I figured it was worth a try. So, since I had honestly expected them to be crappy, I couldn’t have been more surprised or impressed with what I found when I opened the box! I used the prep scrub and the little ingrown hairs I always got, never appeared this time! The shave butter worked so much better then shaving cream and the blades did a BETTER job then my Gillette Venus. The handle is metal and rubber and feels much better in my hand then the Venus too. (I prefer the metal to the plastic anyway) The post shave dew soothed my skin and I didn’t get any razor bumps even on my bikini line which is a first for me... like ever! So I’m sold. Dollar shave club and me just became BFF’s. My only complaint is the creams have a slight “man” cream smell (no clue how to describe it better then that) though it’s slight and thankfully gone by the time I get out of the shower and doesn’t linger on my body. Since they advertise this as unisex they should make it scent free. If the smell lingered I would’ve dumped it no matter how well it worked so I’m beyond grateful that it didn’t.
