I’m a faculty member. If the website won’t work on a phone (with users directed to the app), make sure the app has the functionality you’re not letting me use in a browser. To wit, reading the applicant’s application materials is the essential feature for an applicant tracking system. #FAIL

Seems to be working fine for me for viewing. More intuitive than the desktop version. I was able to sort my actual interviews vs open interview slots, which I have not figured out how to do on the desktop. I haven’t actually tried to schedule an interview through the app but will update if I do.

Forcing people to use an app that doesn’t work is poor UX and poor customer service. I can see available interview spots but I can’t click on any to schedule because the app crashes and makes me go back through the login, only to crash again when I click an item. Not everyone has a laptop with them when they get an interview invite email. With how fast these interview spots go, you really should test your app to make sure it works, and if you’re not going to do that, at least offer a backup option for your customers to use the mobile website.
