Long Narde — Backgammon Online

Update: I'm giving up and removing the app. More and more times app allows me to move only 1 checker. After moving 1 checker another one is still highlighted, but turn goes to opponent. A few times, I moved only one checker and the turn switched to the opponent, but the interface still showed that it was my turn, and I couldn’t make any more moves. So instead of playing two checkers, I ended up moving just one. I don’t mind watching a 30sec ad after the game, but sometimes the close button doesn’t appear, and the only way to exit is to force close the app.

I have played this app for years, but I deleted it today. Too often, the server hangs and doesn’t roll the dice. Then the timer times out for the player waiting for the dice, the game ends, and that player loses with a large penalty. Very frustrating. This happened to me three times recently, and I have giga speed internet. But it also happens to my opponents too often also. Other than that, the game is well designed and fun. But I quit. I’ll find another app or stick with backgammon.
