Reviews: What People Think About Taijitu: A Game About Balance

I just finished the game and really enjoyed it. All the levels were solvable on my ipad. One minor issue is that as soon as you solve a level the puzzle disappears. It would be nice if you could see it with the colors all in the right place for a few more seconds. Otherwise it can make you feel like you just stumbled upon the right combination rather than solved it.
Overall it's relaxing and fun.

As a game based on colours, the game is pretty nice to look at with its minimalistic design. The music is also pretty zen, but that's about all I can say for the game. The game works on a one-tap control, but the switching of the parts on some levels aren't very clear, and as such makes the game skewed more towards random chance and persistence rather than any skill or thought.
This game feels like it belongs with games in the vein of the 'Harmony' series, but sadly falls short (by a large margin) in comparison.

Repeatedly I am able to separate the colors into a balance on each side but the game doesn't recognize it. There are multiple ways to get a balanced solution but the game seems to only recognize one particular solution. It's very frustrating to know you have it correct only to have the game be expecting a different solution.
About Taijitu: A Game About Balance
***** Instructions *****
The game divides the screen into two sections via a white line. The shapes that appear to be pulsating are the ones you can rotate by tapping on them. Avoid having the same color in two places on one side of the white line so that the colors are equally distributed on both sides.

----- Overview -----

Plug in your earphones and enjoy the experience.
About "Yin Yang":
In Chinese culture, Yin and Yang represent the two opposite principles in nature. "Yin" characterizes the feminine or negative nature of things, and "Yang" stands for the masculine or positive side. Yin and Yang are in pairs, such as the moon and the sun, female and male, dark and bright, cold and hot, passive and active, etc. But Yin and Yang are not static or just two separate things. The nature of Yin Yang lies in the interchange and interplay of the two components. The alternation of day and night is such an example.
