I really love this app with a few exceptions. The convenience cannot be beat, the store I use has the most amazing group of people working who always go above and beyond to help and make sure the order is correct, call if items need replaced, and also call to see if you need anything else you might have forgotten. The only issue I have are the payment issues; I assist an elderly person on a fixed income receiving benefits, high risk and unable to shop in stores leaving online as an only option. With the Rosie app not offering snap the choices are limited; leaving the only option is me going into the stores for her and grocery shopping which she does not want unless it is a last resort due to the risk.

I have consistently attempted to use Rosie App a few times a month for the last 6 months, as it is the only pickup method for my closest grocery store. I have successfully placed THREE orders total, all being within 9 days of each other. THREE ORDERS over SIX MONTHS of regular attempts. I will spend an hour filling my cart, hoping to Gods I don’t believe in that it will work this time. I must be a masochist because I keep going back, hoping they’ve fixed the critical issue that disallows me to utilize their service entirely. Nope. All I get is frustration and wasted time and I have to reluctantly choose another store that does not use Rosie for pickup. I have used my iPhone, my husband’s Samsung, the native app & browser site on both, my laptop, home wifi, work wifi, LTE, logged in, logged out, new account, YOU NAME IT. The issue is NOT on my end. I have reached out to the support team and they were completely unhelpful, essentially saying “that shouldn’t happen, tell us if it does again I guess.” I see them responding to the negative reviews saying to reach out to them. For what? What can you do for me? Because as soon as I hit the checkout button I am given the message “Oh no, something went wrong. Please try again or refresh.” I have “tried again” countless times over 6mo and refreshed for over 30minutes straight. They clearly do not want my business because I have tried very hard to give it to them. What a joke.

I like Rosie. It’s easy to use, tallies my bill before my order is sent to the store and after my order is picked up. When an item is not available or the store wants to make a substitution, my local grocery store calls me to advise me. I like that it informs me by email when my order is ready. I really like that I get an order number which I must give when picking up my groceries. This prevents someone unauthorized getting my groceries. The actual shopping experience is a good one too. It divides produce into vegetables and fruit. It has an each choice for some things like lemons which are tough to order by weight. I also really like the feature which allows me to order from the weekly ad by clicking on the advertised item. The search tool works fairly well too. When I have had a question or problem, the Rosie app team have quickly responded and even given me a reward of money off my next order for contacting them. Bottom line, I like this app. It’s a great way to order groceries, esp. since COVID when I want to reduce my contact with others.
