Simply Invaluable!

This a a must for any serious photographer. It does everything it claims and more. When Iā€™m in the field, I use it many times per day. In addition to previsulization, it functions as a notebook for scouting potential shots. The gps function enables return to the precise location. I always use it to locate and set my initial tripod position. The map function could be enhanced with the addition of a direction indicator. Easier access to the time/date data would also be an improvement.

Saves time and saves film

I shoot several formats of film with a variety of equipment and often the setup time is a consideration. I have relied on this app to help me check the composition With various lenses in these formats for years and it has saved me a lot of time and even wasted film. In regards to the latter, if I were to go through the motions of setting up something like my 8x10 view camera, I might be inclined to expose a couple of sheets of film even though the image may not be as refined as I want. By using this app, I can frame, capture and study the composition well before ever exposing the film.
