Neybers - Try Interior Design Anywhere

I'm so happy I discovered this app, I love the freedom I have to design, more so than the other interior design app "design home." I can change the walls, floors, windows, and scale of objects. However, this app lacks in usability. For example, not all of the furniture/decor has varying angles. So if I wanted a chair facing completely to the side in my living room, I have to scroll through each item just to see if they even offer that angle. Most of the time they don't. In addition, I wish there was an option to favorite or like items that I see so I can use in future designs. Also there's no really incentive to complete the daily tasks, the points, as far as I can tell, don't give you anything other than meaningless points. I also would like to search my Facebook friends, there's no way to do that. And the type treatments in places are borderline unreadable, especially on the daily tasks. The type size is so small and there's not enough color contrast. With all that being said, I love the idea of this app and hope they can make improvements to their UI and UX. :)

I found Neybers after my frustration with another design app finally bit it, so I searched for something similar with a more open and creative platform (more furnishings to select from, decide on walls, floors, construction, windows, etc) OBSESSED is an understatement... I'm loving this app too much! It is an incredible way to practice and hone your design skills, or just have fun doing whatever you want with imaginary spaces. With the ability to visualize real products and finishes in my own space, I've used it to design the rooms in my house. There is very little you can't do with this app as far as interior design is concerned. The app also provides templates and daily challenges, plus the interaction with other 'players' is really positive and supportive. Aside from any quirks or tweaks that I'm sure will be figured out, this app is awesome!!

Don't get me wrong, this is an absolutely AMAZING app in the capacity of what you are able to design if only you have the time to waste. Because of the "search" feature (and I use the term loosely), what should take seconds can take 20 to 30 minutes...or more. If you are looking for a GREEN CHAIR, for example, as of today the search results will include not just green chairs, you know, what you were looking for, but will give you 655 GREEN ITEMS + 1287 CHAIRS for you to sift through MANUALLY in hopes of finding some chairs that are green. And no, they don't even separate the green items or the chairs, so you've got lamps, art, tiles, tables, any item, really, and the chairs are brown , yellow, white, if it's a chair, it's there! After several months of paying for premium membership to unlock primo items, the # of spaces I designed steadily declined, until I now no longer use the app. The developer is happy to add many fabulous new items...which only frustrates one further because it is only MORE ITEMS TO SIFT THROUGH when attempting a design. Because the developer is aware of this glaring issue but won't do anything to improve it, I can't recommend the app to anyone who values their time. I DO keep looking for an update hoping that they WILL fix this!!! If they fix this, I wouldn't hesitate to give this a 5 star rating. Yes, this makes THAT much of a difference.
