I got the 1 week trial and it worked well, some glitches but the grocery list went right into my Walmart app and I was impressed. Now after my trial is up and I’ve paid for a year I updated the app and it is even more glitchy and getting the list to transfer into my Walmart list isn’t working at all. Then trying to switch meals has very limited options. I hope this gets fixed
I used the trial of this app for the week. It’s a great idea, but needs more work. For example, the grocery list it gave me for my meals included “cheddar cheese”, “shredded cheddar”, and “shredded cheddar cheese”— all for different recipes. If the developer is going to advertise that one of the benefits of the app is pulling recipes that reuse ingredients to save money at the register and reduce food waste, they need to work out kinks like this one. The original meal plan it gave me was also 4 meals— two of which were flatbreads and the other two were tacos. I could come up with saving money by repeating meals without the help of an app with a weekly fee. It also showed me a recipe with rice where the instructions say to add the rice to the slow cooker, but the only liquid in the slow cooker is 6 tbsp of soy sauce and a few tbsp of honey— no broth, no water… there’s just no way that would work. The recipes aren’t thorough enough.
The concept is amazing and ultimately it works BUT….. there is no option to have fish or shellfish as a restriction so I’m getting quite a few recipes that have them in it. There is also a glitch to where if you browse recipes, you can’t scroll on it until you touch the very very edge of the screen which is almost never.
