I got this app several weeks ago to practice my very beginner skills. It is fun, fast, and - I am learning! But…almost every other day - it just completely freezes up in the middle of play - forcing an exit from the game. I have played maybe 70 games against the bots - and reported about 1/3 of the game freeze-ups. But…it is a little frustrating - especially if you think you were about to WIN!

This app brings so much joy and connection, and I’m floored by how user-friendly and intuitive it is… Not to mention the elegant yet whimsical aesthetic. I’m still pretty new to mahj, and I’m grateful for the space to explore/make mistakes and play with ppl at a similar level without pressure. At the same time, it’s super fun to connect with friends from all over in this way! BDC is such a value-add and I’m so excited to keep playing.

As someone who’s only started playing Mahjong in the last few years, this app fills a gap I didn’t even realize was missing. It lets me play anytime, which is perfect when there’s no one around to play. I love that I can try different hands, practice new strategies, and experiment without any pressure or consequences if I make a mistake. The app is easy to use, fun, and has become my go-to whenever I’m in the mood to play. It definitely scratches that Mahjong itch. It’s beautifully developed, and you can tell a lot of thought went into creating it. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves the game!
