I’ve always appreciated Spruce Home Cleaning Services! They have always communicated well and strive for excellence! I’ve used them for a few years now and I appreciate how easy they make keeping my apartment clean! Thank you!!
Great
I paid $260 for a Move Out Cleaning, which is their deepest and most extensive cleaning service meant for empty apartments. The “Pro” spent a total of 39 minutes in my home according to my smart lock and didn’t clean a single thing. The kitchen, living room, bathroom, baseboards, windows, blinds, etc. were all untouched. The hardwood floors were actually in worse condition. It looked like they emptied a vacuum cleaner in the living room and spread it around the apartment. I’m not kidding. Tons of hair, including large balls/clumps, of varying lengths and colors, and dirt/outside debris left behind that wasn’t originally there. I sent almost 200 pictures and a video to them showing everything that was missed (the entire apartment). They only refunded me $100, saying that amount was calculated “based on the specific missed areas shown in the photos [I] previously provided, evaluated directly against [their] service checklist.” There was no evidence at all that anybody cleaned, and they refused to give me a full refund, keeping $160. If you don’t believe me, read reviews on Google for “Spruce Services, Inc” where you will see that the same thing has happened to many others. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT USE THEM!
