Split – Pay Together

App was excellent, until they started charging fees. When you send a split the person that needs to pay you will be charge around 5% for the payment to be processed, which seems high. Something around 1-3% would be more reasonable. I now only use this app to split up the payments and ask people to just Zelle me. It was really cool that people could use their credit card to pay you, but I don’t think most people would be willing to pay an additional fee to the money they owe you especially on more expensive items or bills. For example if you use the split up to copay for a subscription every month that person would be paying an additional fee for the subscription.

It reads the receipt amount wrong multiple times and it does not allow me to alter the price, I have to enter it manually to get correct prices. Overall the app is great for splitting evenly. The app should allow you to edit the item amounts when using the scan receipt feature - UPDATE - Developer stated they are actively working on this feature, while I can’t justify 5 stars 4 stars is fair.. also there should be an instant transfer option with a small fee is fine, both direct bank transfer and debit card transfer takes 3-5 days

I used this at a dinner with 14 friends, I used my Amex to pay the bill for some points. I used the split app to get paid back & the fact no one at the table needed the app downloaded was super cool! My group enjoyed paying me back through the app because they were able to pay me back with Amex cards & they also got points. Love this!
