Prayr - Salah & Focus

I’m giving this app 4 stars for mostly one major critique I just experienced. I’ve been using this app for a while and it’s actually super helpful for me! It’s like other adhan apps that track prayers that are prayed, but the fact that this also blocks apps when time to pray has been a great feature! However, when I used it this morning to track Fajr, I came to realize that all of my prayers that I had tracked had been wiped off, as if I hadn’t prayed within the past month, which is really disappointing. I’m not even sure how to approach this situation, but other than that, it is a really useful app.

Struggling to pray is a problem that no one can solve except oneself. Prayr app was genuinely a great tool that assisted me in praying by keeping my mindset in check. Yes at the end of the day, nothing js gonna magically get you to pray everyday. But having and actually using the tools and resources to help you accomplish that makes all the difference.

Love the lockdown feature it really helps me focus on prayer. There's an option for a temporary break if you need it during lockdown mode. Additionally, you can choose which apps you want to block. The widgets are also beautiful and display times for prayers/countdown to the next. The only issue I've found is if you forgot to check off a previous day, it's not letting me go back and check off those previous prayers completed. The streak feature really is something that's motivating to see your progress. Also the animations are nice when you check off a prayer, very motivating and make you feel good about doing them :) Overall, easy to navigate and user friendly I highly recommend downloading and trying for yourself!
