Masha Allah. The app is very good for learning Fusha, but there are some ways to improve it! First of all, the questions, they are too predictable. You have three questions in a row asking about the same word. That’s not challenging it’s making it easy to forget what I’m trying to memorize. Instead stay with three questions on the same word, but distance them from each other, maybe like one is 3 questions away from the next. It would make it more challenging to memorize, but more useful in the long term🙂. Lastly the Quran reading questions, specifically when you are done reading a Surah or ayah then you press vocabulary, it says “not enough words”. It would make the app better if it did vocabulary on the words from the Surah or ayah you just read. For example say I’m reading the first ayah of AL-MASAD and I press vocabulary, I want reflection on the words of the ayah I just read. That’s all. 🙂 Other than that, the app is Remarkable, and I would definitely recommend it for people wanting to learn Fusha.
I have tried several Quran apps, and this is by far one of my favorites. I love that it works seamlessly on both my iPad and iPhone, making it easy to stay connected to the Quran wherever I am. The app includes everything I need to learn more and build a stronger relationship with the Quran. One feature I especially appreciate is the ability to customize the reading experience. You can choose from different Arabic fonts, adjust the font size, and change the layout to display English alongside the Arabic text. There are also multiple English translation options available. The tafsir section is very helpful and easy to access. While I don’t have extensive experience comparing different tafsir resources, I’ve found the explanations clear and beneficial for understanding the verses. My favorite feature is the vocabulary learning section. You can customize how much time you want to spend learning new Quranic words, and the app includes review sessions to help reinforce previously learned vocabulary. This has made Quran study much more engaging and practical. I also love the reflection section, which encourages deeper contemplation and helps build a personal connection with the Quran rather than simply reading it. Overall, this app combines reading, learning, reflection, and customization in one place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of and relationship with the Quran.
This app is amazing. You can choose multiple ways of reading from a single verse to a whole page, you are given the choice to swipe vertical or horizontal to move to the next section, you can choose a light or dark theme, you can practice your Arabic speaking and reading (!!!!), and my favorite feature being the 'Tafsir' section which gives expanded explanationd of whichever section you are currently on. (Of course there are many more beautiful and very thoughtful features for accessibility and ease for any possible user.) These explanations range from simple, moderate, and to advanced. The Tafsir compiled commentary from many Islamic scholars and experts of the Quran and can give simple explanations from said scholars to a child and to an adult lifelong reader of the Quran! The only problem with this app is in the vocabulary testing section. When I am trying to do my vocabulary everything works smoothly and perfectly until–and this happens each time regardless of the section or when I use the app—the 'match the Arabic writing to the English translation' test always fails to allow me to click any word of either translation on the very bottom row. This app is truly beautiful and the people who put it together are amazing people. Allah SWT, peace be upon all of those reading and those included in the creation and maintenance process. Please fix this issue. Thank you so much! I still give the app five stars because this is only one bug I have noticed after using it consistently and I'd like to raise the ratings so more people may get recommended this app when they search for a Quran app for their phone or other kinds of technology. But still... fixing this issue would make me very grateful and help me to learn the original language which the book from Allah and Prophet Mohammed, Peace be upon him, was written in. Much love and support. ☪️☪️☪️
