Miscrits

This is my honest review of a childhood game I love. The creatures and updates are great. Rewards system is awesome but your arena experience is beyond annoying and frustrating. Giving my opponent up to 3 extra turns or simply choosing who attacks first randomly despite who attacked already simply ruins the point of arena. Your skill or Miscrits abilities won’t matter if the game decides for you to loose. I think this game could be a perfect 5 but the arena experience really holds it back. Especially considering how some of the best rewards come from the arena. Still an amazing game overall

Almost like the original… However, The new developers have seemed to make it their mission to make the game as difficult as possible in order for it to not “be unfair” and become boring, and they did the opposite. The spawn rates for rare up to legendary are ridiculously low. The revamped version of Brash’s Breeding is useless now. Super expensive and will not breed you any new Miscrits. You can put three S ranked Miscrits into the breeder and they have a chance to come out as an even lower rank than what you put in. It is also extremely hard to win any PVP battles unless you “pay to play”. You’re always outmatched, making them no fun. The elementums are also extremely overpowered, it’s nearly impossible to beat them without Legendary Miscrits that have been maxed out. It makes the game way more tedious and unfulfilling than it should be. Fix these issues and the game is just as good as it was when it was on Facebook.

I played this game as a kid and was SO sad when it shut down. I love being able to play it again and the fact that it’s exactly how I remember! There are a few things that are just a bit frustrating about it though (but not enough to leave a 4 star review, the good nostalgia is too strong lol). The first is that it makes me log in again every time I click into a different app. Would love a “stay logged in on this device” option or something! The other thing is that it can take ages to find a battle in the arena. Not sure if there are better ways to train your Miscrits later, or if it’s just the pvp, but it’s kind of inconvenient? Not terribly so, but it makes things take a lot longer just fighting wild Miscrits. Love to see the game back though!
