Ragnarok M: Classic Global

I am a long time RO fan. Been playing since I was 13 years old. I will say that there is a nostalgia about this version that has captured me that I didnt get with the previous mobile accesible versions. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet. The good about the game is that it looks wonderful and the skill effects are nice to look at. I have been playing since global release and have a Level 110 Ranger and a 100 Archbishop. I have joined a guild that is active social and very helpful with weekly dungeons/instances. This is what really makes the game fun for me currently. They are a good group of people who enjoy the game on the same level. Of course the actual game mechanics as far as trading and such are not the same as classic RO, which makes sense to an extent because then there would be tons of overpowered players dominating the server. The game tends to keep everything pretty fair and stable with how it operates. I will say that while you can F2P this game and enjoy it, there is a handicap in not spending money. Everything gets really expensive endgame. But as another review stated, you can take it slow and the game will give you weekly chests to eventually build your gear set how you want. It just will take MUCH longer. As far as the Top-Up…FAR too expensive. I could literally top up 72 million zeny for $90 and use it on 2 item upgrades and refinements. They should adjust the pricing to be more reasonable. The only other gripe I have is the need to purchase as base adventure pass for $7 and then another premium pass for $24 just to get a month of premium materials. Thats essentially a $30 subscription 😂 And the last thing I will say is that the gameplay time should be increased from 180 to 240 standard. Maybe even 300. Or drop the raid requirement times to 30 for all instances. Other than that, i’ll probably be playing this game until RO3 releases. P.S. once you reach Level 110 and have enough decent T3 gear and cards, material farming is pretty easy. Go get em.

After I played in 2 days I got bored. Graphics is good, but it was missing everything what the Real Ragnarok online gives. You can’t trade, you can’t share your items to your own characters. When you created a first character, your second character can’t use the item on the storage which your first character uses. You pick up drop like weapons and armors, its useless to your own job. Because if you’re a knight, all the item drops are from other jobs. If you put it on storage and plan to make another character so you can use those items, you can’t you use. Its basically trash just like the game itself. Its still just the same as Ragnarok eternal love. Its all about spending money to get stronger. Level ups is also limited, you can’t trade only get 180 minutes or something and thats it. Never get fooled by these people. I bet you 100% if this game doesn’t work out, like the “eternal love” they will create another game and make up all the lies.

I am putting a 5 stars so far here while I get into the weeds of the game. I have played every flavor of Ragnarok they have put out and Played IRO as a kid growing up. I understand everyone has to make money so some purchase mechanic needs to be in here. But the fact now nothing is limited to “you have to spend money to get X”. Everything is on the table and if you want something grind to get it. Yes there will be whales on all games you play. Does not matte what it is. But so far this is their best release yet. Time will tell and I will update accordingly
