I like this app. But in order to get the new rules, which are just a few, I have to purchase another complete rule book. I would gladly pay proportionally to update the app I’ve already downloaded
This is my updated review of NFHS Digital v2.0: Alas, finally a usable app! Thanks for listening and making necessary changes: links actually work; no index, but a functional table of contents; search results are tappable and take you to the rule. Still not as good as the prior “All Access”, but finally functional! Thank you for the improvements. Effort acknowledged and appreciated. This was my initial review of the NFHS Digital v1.0… 1 out of 5 stars an amazing step - BACKWARDS!… 2025 NFHS Baseball Rules digital book… table of contents shows the index…. 2026 version, nope. 2025 NFHS Baseball Rules digital book… permits creating, saving, and using bookmarks… 2026 version, nope. 2025 NFHS Baseball Rules digital book… when locating an item in the index, tapping on said item takes you to that item in the book (common sense functionality)… 2026 version, nope. 2025 NFHS Baseball Rules digital book… when a rule is referenced in the text, tapping on that rule takes you to that rule, aka “link” (command sense functionality)… 2026 version, nope. My observation: Perhaps a failed transition from NFHS All Access to NFHS Digital has resulted in several items falling by the wayside? I apologize. I’m not fond of presenting an issue/problem without also presenting a possible solution(s). I’m not sure how to recommend anything, other than going back to square one and re-design with actual officials providing input… kind of a quality assurance/functionality check. If at all possible, please dedicate any/all resources possible to make the 2026 NFHS Baseball Rules digital book and 2026 NFHS Baseball Case digital book useable. In their current iteration, they’re pretty much more frustrating that useful. In the meantime, I’ll just wait for my 2026 paper books to arrive and reference my 2025 paper rule books.
Rather use the NFHS Publications on screen. One tap you have your books. Many places we cannot even make a call much less have WiFi service. To make a call we have to go outside. Our books are already downloaded so we don’t need service. Digital we have to go through a lot of hoops to get to books. We don’t have the time at halftime to look something up. Get rid of digital.
