I do really love this app. The last manga reader type app I had didn’t have much of a variety, so this one definitely changed that for me. I can’t afford the premium without ads but I do enjoy that even without paying for a membership, you can still read whatever manga you want, you’ll just have ads but it’s not an overbearing amount of ads. My only complaint is that I can’t seem to find a way to get a notification when a new episode comes out of whatever manga I’m reading, nor can I see a release date so I can at least get on the app that day of the week and check. It gets annoying checking every single day to see when it comes out. Other than that it’s quite enjoyable

I like the app so far I downloaded it because MangaNelo, which I had been using for the last few years, suddenly stopped working the UI is much nicer but I feel like some basic features are missing here. Firstly, it would be great if I could read manga horizontally. It seems at the moment there is no way to do that on iOS, if I rotate my phone nothing happens and there are no buttons to switch modes either. It’s confusing cause in the guide reader it says there’s a horizontal mode, but that’s the only place in the entire app that mentions it. Secondly, I do agree with other reviews I would like to have notifications of new chapters so I don’t have to check each one especially since with the galaxy server it doesn’t list the dates chapters were added and some are updated further on that one than infinity.

I would like to give it 5 stars, but with the constant bugs and other issues, I just can’t. I updated the app as I use it everyday, and I can no longer search for stories or see my reading history. I downloaded a chapter and it says it’s in my Library, but I can’t access my Library. I think that another issue this app has is that there are no dates on when a chapter was updated, and the notifications doesn’t let you know when there’s been an update, just ‘recommendations’ that don’t match my actual reading history. Another suggestion I would tell the developers, is to let people’s bookmarks sort by recently updated to be more helpful, and to respond to emails about concerns, because I emailed the Get Help in the app immediately, once I realized there was an issue.
