I love Souvla. They my favorite quick service restaurant in San Francisco (with the only exception being Cafe Reveille). Their chicken salad is more reliable than all of my exes combined and their baklava crumble yogurt dessert fills my little heart with joy. One time my dad and I were on a walk and, after an hour of us talking about my life, he paused, looked at me, and said “did I mention that my sister died two days ago?” He had not mentioned that. I got us Souvla salads and we ate them in the park while we talked about Aunt Judy’s passing. That’s Souvla for ya.
