I really liked this game and enjoyed the strategy. And in many cases I accepted that part of the strategy is to spend actual money to win lol. I really don’t mind supporting developers, but it can be a bit much. For example, I had the option to spend $30 on a character called “Overmind” that was offered for a limited time. I’ve already spent over $50 on this game and I’ve only been playing for less than a couple weeks. So in my mind, I couldn’t find it justifiable. It’s still possible to find this character in packs, however you generally need to spend money for the odds to be in your favor. Aside from the pay to play aspect, the Overmind character is simply too powerful and ruined the game. With almost no time at all, he simply controls all of your characters on the battlefield and for me at this time breaks the game. It’s unfortunate because I did enjoy the game up until this point. I would consider still supporting this game as well as changing my review if they fixed this character and worked to make this game more fair and balanced.
So I love this game, and I actually learned about it from my friend on the bus. I was grounded but I loved watching him play and he would let me play sometimes. I installed it recently when I was allowed to but I’ve been grinding and noticed a few bugs (two) For one, on the arena progress bar where you get rewards as you progress, there’s a glitch where it will say you can get a reward that’s already been claimed but you can’t reclaim it. Also at the end of a match where your units mastery goes up, sometimes it will level up without saying it for example, once I had a unit mastery 5 going to 6 and when it leveled up it gave me the reward but until the next round it said the mastery was still 5. Overall I love this game and even with the bugs I still do. I love how it’s AD free unless you want them but to the developers, great job! Keep making masterpieces like this!
Fun addicting game that’s easy to get into. It’s refreshing that there’s no ads while playing, unless you want to watch them for additional bonuses and rewards. No ads are used to help win a game/match either. Diamonds are slow to accumulate, so buying extra packs to progress and strengthen your units is slow. There is some RNG to deal with while playing that may annoy some players. But matchmaking is not based on overall hero level, but seemingly on another ranking, resulting hopeless matches against overpowered teams. This leads to repeatedly surrendering matches to knock yourself down in ranking and finally match against someone with similar hero levels. Last few updates saw nice additions to game features. But most recent addition of newest heroes completely break the game. Before, the different heroes had a rock paper scissors appeal, with advantages and disadvantages against other heroes but each hero having their worth. Now the newest heroes hopelessly outclass many older heroes and made obsolete, creating serious balancing issues. The coliseum did add refreshable monthly rewards to speed up progress a bit but looks like the rewards stopped this month, so there’s no point at all to playing that feature now. So progress is slower than ever with too few heroes bits to spread over too many heroes/spells and now pushing into pay wall territory. It was fun while it lasted.
