This app used to be my favorite game. Used to be. I got so hooked on it that when I looked at the clock it would be morning before I put it down. But we’ve added some things we don’t need. Honestly I don’t understand people complaining so hard about the ads. They’re after each level but you can skip, just like most games anymore. You get what you signed up for: a game you can play for free because of ads. Unfortunately, this game is slowly becoming like any other concerning the missions and competitions and rankings. Upon opening it seems you always have to wait for a popup to load about some race you were in or the new one that’s started or this or that, just to click out of it. Now there’s this puffer fish. Idk who came up with it, but man it makes me bitter. This game is strategic. And now you’ve got some character jumping around blocking areas that you had already planned out to complete the level. I like having to get to keys, break ice, uncover buckets, I do. Because they’re stationary and go hand in hand with strategizing. It’s absolutely unnecessary to throw in a complication that can’t be properly planned around in this type of game. If I wanted a game I can’t rely on putting logic behind, I’d get a different game. And I’m pretty close to doing just that.
This game is fun and that it’s cozy and easy to play and were it not for the ads I would have given it five stars. Now the ads are not incessant and that they push them in your face. It’s that once you get past level 50 you cannot advance or pass each level on a first try without requiring the tools or paying for coins. The only way to earn tools beyond what they give you when they introduced the tools is to watch advertisement. So for each level beyond level 50, I have found myself having to either watch an ad to save myself or using it to get more tools which kind of disturbs the coziness of this game. If you’re looking for a game where you can just play mindlessly this is not it. I didn’t buy the ad free options only because I felt that even without the ads I would still have to utilize so many of the ads option to just get the tools in order to survive each level without failing it on the first try heck I even restarted some level levels just to save myself and I still couldn’t get them on the second try
Currently working through levels in the upper 500’s. Designs are pretty repetitive from early levels with the occasional extra challenging level thrown in. Still waiting for the beautifully colorful level I saw in an ad that I’m realizing probably doesn’t actually exist. A lot of these reviews talk about challenging levels requiring you to pay to beat, I don’t agree with those statements, but I do occasionally need to use an autofill bucket to be able to get past a level - I haven’t had to pay for any of them yet, though. I will delete a game before I spend money in it. I have a few main gripes with this app. #1- the upper levels are getting unplayable (probably started in the 100s), constantly freezing and pausing which would be fine if they didn’t also make the physics glitch. Buckets will make it to the conveyor belt then simply not fill immediately, like they need a moment to think but the belt continues to move. Not great if you’re trying to time your bucket placement precisely. Sometimes buckets will glitch halfway through filling and just stop accepting sand, however they still take up a space on the belt. Instant loss and so frustrating. #2- sometimes it seems like the ratio between the amount of space a color takes up in the image and the number of buckets it fills is inconsistent between colors. It can make it hard to strategize and feels occasionally arbitrary. #3- so. many. ads. Otherwise still a fun game to pass the time if I’m doing other things.
I like this game. As you win more levels, you have to plan ahead more, so it stays challenging. There are easier levels in between the hard and super hard ones. Most ads you can click out of, though a few occasionally freeze up and you have to leave the game for a few minutes and then go back to it. But the REALLY annoying thing is the daily win streak rewards. I rarely get past a three day streak before it tells me that I missed a day, even though I did not. So my daily reward is only ever Day 2 or 3, then it tells me I missed a day. I have to watch an ad, or lose the streak and start all over earning rewards. I watch enough stupid ads just playing, I’m not watching another, when I should not have to. Y’all need to fix this glitch
I love this game. I’m currently at level 393 and have not made any in-app purchases. The people that say some levels are impossible are misleading. They are “super hard” and require A LOT of tries to get them right. They even have walkthrough videos online to help you if you get stuck. I will say, there are some levels that have weird “physics”. The sand will fall inconsistently. For example, I will have a row of red at the bottom. But the row is very thin, so I’m able to get the blue from above it. Then, once the blue is gone I think I can reach the yellow just above the red, however the game doesn’t register the yellow to be collected even though the blue was collected just fine. The only suggestions I would give that could make this game better are to offer ads for free coins, and optimize the physics. The bad reviews are from people without patience. I’m very patient and try each level until I beat it. Never spent a dime on this game.
I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and I wanted to wait for an update so I can see if anything could change, but it’s not changing in the way I think is useful. I’ve spent the past four days on a level and I can’t get through it. You have to time your buckets perfectly, not place too many of the same colors down, and the fact the buckets always place in different spots when you have some slots open is irritating. If I was able to get some power ups through watching ads, it probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal. But I am only able to get power ups when I use coins, which you can only get after beating a level. Not to mention, it takes 900 coins to open a new slot, and 1800 coins for 3 power ups. Depending on the difficulty, you can get 25-75 coins per level. I don’t think that is fair with how often I get hard levels, and how hard some of these easy levels can be. I really do enjoy this game, but it sometimes just feels impossible, especially with how you only get 1 life added every 20 minutes.
It’s fun and addictive but there are some levels you can’t pass without 10 tries to find the one and only solution or without paying for boosters. You’ve got 5 spaces and when the first layer is orange, but the orange is 6 buckets in with no way to get to it… There’s no way to earn anything but 25-50 coins and it takes 900 coins if you run out of space and 1800 coins for boosters. Thats 36 levels to pass in order to keep playing ONE level. You literally can not progress without waiting days at a time for your hearts to refill to try again and again and again for the single right way or paying real money.
It’s a fun game. I do play daily. But I’ve been stuck on a level (I believe 490) for what feels like an eternity and I cannot get past it because you took the ability away to watch adds to get the power ups or to keep going after you failed. I cannot pay real money (in this economy? Are you for cereal right now?) I know free to play needs to earn money somehow but this ain’t it. When I’ve been on the same level for weeks now because you took away my ability to watch ads, something’s gotta give. Never have I begged for ads in a game, but please put them back.
This game has serious potential, but it’s not worth playing until they give you daily bonus items and the opportunity to earn more coins and/or make it easier to get lives. There are a few levels that are flat out impossible unless you use bonus items. Some are very hard and you won’t get them until the 10th or so try, which is fun, but not much fun when you can’t get additional lives easily. You can watch ads for bonus lives, but even purchasing an unlimited hour for two dollars would be better than the current system. It’s currently far too expensive to purchase anything. I will update this review only when the developers make any of these updates.
But at least we could have our own options and it would be like super hard or like once that would like we could make ourselves and then destroy it or have other people do it, but I think that’s the only reason why Would make this game way more fun but only because I would definitely create cool rainbow characters, other than Robocar, Polly and pomni and Pooh just for extra cuteness or like pomni holding all of the characters that I mentioned in this comment as plushy, it would be super cute that it would make me aw and a bunch of other people to
