Auto Memo Recorder

This app definitely needs some work. I cannot get the app to sync from my iPad to my phone or phone to iPad. Whenever I try to name a recording, it will not save. When you try to name a recording the keyboard on your phone pops up and nowhere can you tap to get rid of it and then it opens up another recording automatically when you don’t want it to.

The description says you can text the memos, which is true. But only from your phone. The car play feature only lets you record them. That’s not what I wanted this app for. I only docked them one star because it works just fine if all you want to do is record a memo for later.

The one thing that really seemed to be missing in CarPlay, at least for me, was an easy, dependable way to record a voice memo. I won’t go into the details of the benefits of recording voice memos here; if you don’t find voice memos useful, more power to you, and if you do find voice memos useful, then you know what I’m talking about. And now finally, such a thing exists! I use Auto Memo Recorder every time I drive, and the developer is updating the functionality regularly. Bonus: it’s a one-time payment, no subscription fee. So great!
