Thryfter

Buyer beware. I've messaged seller (specifically the redracksnkc and Thryfterlabs1 accounts) reguarding an issue with a purchase. I've sent multiple messages with no resolution. The redracksnkc account does don't respond. The TL1 account does not help. There has been no alternative email or resource given to me to reach out for customer service help, which I've asked for. I've mentioned this 2x (and have seen other buyers as well) during the live selling stream when there is always reassurance given, but no results come of anything. I wouldn't recommend paying over a couple dollars in your bid for anything, no matter how good it looks on the screen or how much they amp it up. Merely do to poor customer service and the lack of them helping when an issue is found with an item. Most items are decent, but of course not all issues will be found when they go through so many items. Much more disappointing when it's with a item that was amped up and supposed to be high quality that you paid more for. Other than that, I have bought what I would consider, a lot, of things. I'll probably only actually wear less than half of what I've received. So sometimes it's worth it, other times it's a waste. They go extremely fast and you mostly will not get a chance to ask anything about an item before the 10-15 second bidding timer starts. It's also funny to me, being what I would called "shamed" by a seller for not purchasing items (as a whole group). Some of the Thryfter lab sellers are good, some are not and there seems to be quite a bit of turn over. If anyone from Thryfter does read and respond to this, please provide me an email for help and resolution for an item bought through redracksnkc right before they switched over to thryfterlabs1. Thanks!

They’re incredibly fast at fixing issues related to technical problems. As a new app, I think this has such potential to go very far. On top of that, most everything I have purchased is less than 3 bucks. I can’t get that anywhere.

This app completely changed the way I shop for vintage and thrift finds. The live auction feature is what makes it so addictive. Instead of scrolling through endless listings like other resale apps, you can join real-time auctions where sellers show items live and people bid instantly. It honestly feels like being at a live thrift auction or flea market, but on your phone. I’ve already found some amazing vintage clothing and unique thrift pieces that I probably never would have discovered on normal marketplace apps. The auctions move fast, which makes it exciting, and sometimes you can grab incredible deals.
