I've played a lot of idle games, but Slumdog Billionaire: I Am Rich genuinely stands out. The transition from rags to riches feels rewarding and well-paced. There's a nice balance between grinding and upgrades, and I love how the game doesn’t shove ads down your throat unless you want the rewards. It really makes you feel like you’re building something from nothing. I’ve spent hours managing my empire, investing in better jobs, and even choosing how my personal life unfolds. It’s deeper than it looks at first glance!

The concept of the game is really good. However, every scenario that occurs almost always results in a negative way unless you pay for fortune cookies to give you the best result for a scenario. Same applies once you own a business. In every scenario for a business decision, the best option can only be selected if you pay for fortune cookies. If you don’t buy the fortune cookies then you’re left with the worst decisions to select from, and go from making X amount to dollars to losing X amount of dollars every month due to something called “unforeseen circumstances.” You end up losing money at a ridiculously fast pace to the point where claiming the free money after watching an ad can’t save you and ultimately making you start over because of it. The chapter progressions also get more and more ridiculous to unlock as your monthly income makes it impossible to unlock the next chapter unless you sell properties and play the side games which still wouldn’t help bc the winnings get outweighed by your losses of earnings each month. You will almost certainly have to pay for cash to unlock the further chapter progressions each time and other personal upgrades to apply for new jobs. Overall great concept but just your typical pay to win slop. Unless you have the time to just sit and watch ads hours on end, then I wouldn’t even bother playing this.

Been hooked since day one. Love how it starts rough—sleeping on benches, scraping by—and slowly you work your way up to a full-blown empire. The game really nails the feeling of rising up, and I like that it's not just about tapping but also making smart choices. Ads? Yeah, they're there—but I copped the ad-free pack and it's worth it. Devs seem active too, dropping updates and fixes. This one stays on my phone.
