Loads fast, and the UX is a little cumbersome, but all the pieces are there…almost. Using this on an iPad with keyboard, I’m unable to type characters like “ at all… on the C64, this would be shift+2 but on iPad (and all modern machines), that maps to @. I’d pay $10 for this app if it had full keyboard mapping and the ability to emulate floppy disks for SAVING. Writing and running little BASIC programs would be a lot of nostalgic fun. That said, I kicked the tires for a few minutes and loaded a game that’s provided inside this emulator and it looked like it’ll run great once I hook up my game pad. Nice job - please consider fleshing out the remaining keyboard and file save capabilities.

While this shows some promise, the user interface is not so good. For starters, there’s no way to enter commands directly, but only through a command line, which I find awkward. There’s function keys, but not very initiative. Loading things in is a mess, making running things a little more complicate then it has to be. I could run this on my iPad, but without a way to use an actual Bluetooth keyboard and a way to enter the commands directly, is a dealbreaker for me.
