I recently had a disappointing experience with Baraka Market that reflects poorly on both their physical stores and this app. I purchased two yogurts — one strawberry-flavored (which was clearly marked as discounted) and one banana-flavored. Both were placed together on the same shelf, but only the strawberry yogurt had a visible discount label. There was no price tag at all for the banana yogurt, which led me to believe it was also part of the promotion. However, after completing the purchase, I saw in the receipt that I had been charged the full price for the banana yogurt. When I returned to the store and contacted customer service via the app, they refused to take responsibility, stating that dairy products cannot be returned, even though I was misled by their pricing display. This is a clear violation of consumer rights. According to Uzbekistan’s Consumer Protection Law, sellers are required to provide full and accurate information about pricing. The app doesn’t offer any real customer service tools or effective way to escalate issues like this. I’m extremely disappointed with the experience and the lack of accountability from Baraka Market.
