I’ve been a pretty early user of this equals app. I’ve encountered this problem many times where I cannot use the app and it will not let me in no matter what I do. Ive tried restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling, closing the app, everything, but it will not let me in the app. Besides that, its a decent app. The music selection seems limited (probably due to copyright which I understand) and a big part of the app requires paying through the plus program. I would suggest allowing, for example, the option to watch an ad to chat with the person instead of being forced to pay that subscription. Being able to watch an ad for the in-app currency seems fine, but it could be expanded with the stuff I was talking about previously. Personally, I would watch the ad as it is a win-win situation: The company gets some money while i get the product( what ever it may be). I feel like the need to restrict chatrooms to English only seems unnecessary as there are many people who speak other languages. The design overall of the app is very well made, being simplistic yet resourceful, but please fix the problem with not being able to enter in the app!!! I have talked to some people in the app, and they have encountered the same problem. Thanks -Ashinlol
I was really wanting to discover some new music so I downloaded this app in hope of finding new songs to add to my playlist. I saw it was a platform to “make friends” with similar music taste to you. So I instantly had a feeling people would be on there to find romantic connection as well. So I specifically put in my bio that I have a boyfriend and I’m just on the app to find music, but I still have people sending me message request like “hey baby” and stuff like that also, the songs that are posted about are very generic and all stuff that I’ve heard before when I thought I would be finding new music It’s just people talking about the same songs that have been trending for two years now. I didn’t want to give the app a completely bad review because I do feel that it is a very cool concept and if people did post about songs that weren’t mainstream and already known, it would be a really cool way to find new music.
So first off- LOVE the idea. The app is relatively easy to navigate and after poking around for about 10-20 minutes, you get the gist of everything. I totally understand app developers have to make money somehow, but the fact you can’t reply or dm people without paying a monthly subscription on an app MADE to connect with people is a little silly imo. The app still feels relatively small, and a lot of artists don’t have more than 30 people in the chat room unless they’re huge artists like Taylor Swift. Rather than run people off the app with the idea of a “monthly subscription” I’d love an option for a one time purchase to send and reply to ALL dms, and artist group messages. I’d also love to see some moderation on people trying to hook up/get nudes on here. Other then those few gripes I cannot sing the praises of how amazing this idea is for an app
