Cooking World: Cooking Games

Too many ads. Also you are essentially forced to make purchases later in the game in order to advance. They assume that they have you hooked and can get away with it. Similarly if you play regularly you get less free rewards. If you play less often they increase rewards. These developers don’t seem to realize that you can just delete this game and move onto ten other similar games. Most of which do the same thing. So I play until you hit these ceilings and then move on. So stupid. Someone’s going to figure out a better algorithm. And then they will have my loyalty and money.

Changing my review from a 5 star to a 1 star. I was really enjoying this game. I even bought the $4.99 ad removal pack which, even though it was supposed to remove them permanently, it only lasted about 12 hours. 9 of those hours, I was sleeping. As soon as the app asked me to submit a review, which I reviewed at 5 stars…all the ads came back. I tried restoring purchases but the app told me there were no purchases to restore. Of course, there’s no way to contact the developers within the app…or at least I couldn’t find a way. Definitely appears they’re willing to take your money but not give you what you pay for and it seems extremely shady that all my purchases seemed to disappear after I left the review they wanted. It’s a shame because there’s very few portrait mode cooking games out there and this was a great one until that happened. Save your time and money and check out Royal Cooking instead. That’s what I was playing until I found this app. Now, I’ll be returning to Royal Cooking. At least their ad removal process works.

This game is fun and challenging, got to level 100 and the game just stops and no more levels… looking at the other reviews which seems that most recent being back in February… looks like it is taking a very long time for updates… when are you going to come out with more levels?
