Cooking City: Restaurant Games

The game is fun. It has smooth animation and aesthetically appealing imagery. The levels themselves are interesting and a nice challenge…sometimes. I still have it installed. That said…I don’t play it much, if at all, on a regular basis, because it is explicitly designed to force you to fork out cash for a sub or to watch endless videos, either involuntarily when they just pop up, or because certain levels’ win requirements need you to use boosters to even have a chance of beating them. When they pop up event notices, hey-you-could-buy-our-currency notices, or anything else they can monetize, the x at the corner of the window doesn’t appear until you have had ample time to look at them, whether or not you care. When you fail a level, you have to wait a whole 15 seconds before a retry button is available which doesn’t immediately force you to watch a video instead, and give you a completely random buff that disappears seconds into the level. Chances are, you will get forced to sit through a video anyway, even if you choose not to retry. The videos themselves are the kind that take a minimum of 30s to view, and often take you through an extra five or more after you click the initial x, to take you to the App Store or just advertise again about the ad you just watched. I respect that they want to make money, but holy cannoli, people, don’t do it like this. Other games I play regularly also have ads, and I’m fine with that, but this? This is a whole new level of gimme gimme greed. No thanks.

This game is the best most fun and addictive game I’ve ever seen and played in my entire life! It really impresses me a lot! It so much fun like your u get to update your kitchen all the foods that you can get and you get me re customers and it’s so cute and colorful! Also, the food looks insanely delicious!! And you can cook, and everything!! Who ever made up with this game is the best! I’m a picky game person to choose games to play ! And I love this one and I’m shocked and impressed in the best way! I’m so proud of everything about this game and I gave this game a five star and I’m proud and ya know just love this game so much it is so much fun and it is my new favorite game ever! I’m serious lol! Great job on this guys! This game definitely deserves everything! Love it! I have to go back to playing this game also I just wanted to say I love this game and app way too much lol! I was super excited for a fun new game. I love the graphics and was getting into it. The few things I want to point out to people who would download. Annoying thing no. 1 - when you complete a level instead of getting the diamonds for beating it it goes into a piggy bank you HAVE TO BUY. Boo. Annoying thing no. 2 in order to move on you have to beat the level but to beat it you need diamonds to up each of you food items and equipment which you have to purchase since they all go in that dumb piggy bank. If you run out of time and don’t have a booster, which you have to buy with diamonds which you have to buy with actual money (that piggy bank) you loose a “lightning bolt” which goes into annoying thing no. 3 of you run out of lightning bolts you can’t play. You have to wait til it “recharges” - I don’t know about you but I have to work and have a family and game time is sacred time. If I have to wait, it’s it going to work for me. There are other games where you can keep trying as many times as you need to level up. Regardless it basically comes down to waiting and using actual money which is super frustrating. I end up going and playing other games. I don’t mind spending a little money here and there but this piggy bank thing is a rip off. Bc it’s almost impossible to level up without diamonds. And the free ones you get super few and far between. It’s a real bummer Bc the look of the game is really ausome and makes me happy when I play. Piggy bank and lightning bolts need to go.
