I payed for the app but there are issues. 1. Selecting the fusha voices doesn’t actually change the pronunciations in the letters section. Still uses the Egyptian dialect. 2. Some of the letters are incorrect. If I select “seen” it pulls up “Zay”. When I select “sad” it pulls up “seen”. 3. Under “seen” it misspells the turtle “solhefa” with a “kha” instead of of a “hah”. I’m not sure if it’s just the app on my iPad, but I have tried reinstalling it without success in fixing these issues. I haven’t gone beyond these letters with my child yet to see if there are more issues.
I’m a subscribed, paying user, and my toddler absolutely loves this app. The content is engaging and well designed. However, the pronunciation uses the Egyptian dialect. Since my child is a non-Arabic speaker, I really want him to learn Modern Standard Arabic (الفصحى) first. The dialect is confusing for beginners. Please consider adding Fusha pronunciation or an option to choose. This would make an already great app even better.
This is so cool 😎 that I had ever had this time, I got no idea how much I was learning it. But sometimes, this is way better than I thought. It doesn’t mean how much I have ever had.
