BANDS: Your Music Career

When i signed up for Bands, i was really interested in the publishing collection option known as Melody. It seemed like a convenient (but expensive, almost 70% loss compared to registering works yourself through BMI) way to get my publishing in order and collect royalties, according to the app, thousands of dollars worth. Well, now it’s been since the launch of the service and my royalties have yet to have moved from “processing”. When do i get paid? How? Did i just pay for the service to waste the effort and time i could’ve just gone and done it myself? Google isn’t a great resource for this cause the name of the service is vague and horrible for SEOnso if its all a scam, it’ll never be easy to find info on it. Would love some answers. UPDATE: Still no information, support has been no help and keep repeating they have no information to share at this time. This is unacceptable, it is a PAID service and the cuts they take are MASSIVE for them to not comply with what they promise. I recommend artists go sign up for Ascap or BMI instead, don’t get scammed.

Great way for tracking works but app lacks in real time login of other platforms such as bmi and doesn’t let you claim works as advertised you can only adjust splits
