This app is totally broken in the iOS systems I have tried with it. Formerly an iPhone 13 Pro Max with several versions of iOS did not work. The system will easily connect to the CR Ferret Pro WiFi network. But when a new scan is initiated, the app states “Please connect the scanner”. A new iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18 connects easily with the WiFi but errors with the same problem. I find it totally incomprehensible that Creality has not fixed this problem. The scanner is marketed as compatible with iOS, but it clearly is not. It works well with the MacOS, but without access to it with an iPhone, its usefulness is extremely limited. Therefore I cannot recommend anyone to purchase this scanner for use with iOS.

Every time I want to use this app with an Scan Ferret PRO it doesn’t detect it, says it’s not connected even though it’s connected by the Creality wifi bridge that came with. You have to restart the app, the WiFi and or the WiFi bridge and after 8 tries it works for a moment, sometimes it connects and the it drops connection during scan process. Also during scan the green model disappears and you can’t continue to scan. I have tried different settings and still the same. Very buggy app to the point to be unusable :( using iPhone 14 Pro

Should you desire an exercise in utterly mind blowing frustration, download this app and try to use it with the new top of the line, Raptor X. Oh my lanta. It will use you. Spit on you for even thinking you can make it work, and laugh at you for attempting numerous times. Oh, and Creality customer support is actually even less helpful than an oar in an aircraft. They only care about the sale. Service is non-existent. Seriously, skip this app. The Raptor X has been returned. I had very high hopes for it.
