Supernan: The Nanny You Need

While making a booking they will ask for all your information including id card of a toddler (seriously) and money but there is no assurance you will get a nanny or even same nanny that you booked. We tried twice and both times seriously disappointed and we had to drop our work plans because one time they cancelled booking and second time they switched the nanny we booked with an old 50 yr lady who doesn’t even speak our language and expected us to make it work somehow. The time they cancelled the booking, their team told my wife that their is no one available for even next day but when I tried through my login it was showing 2 nanny available (same ones always) and I was sure after I would have made the payment they would have made some excuse why the nanny can’t come. Seems like they don’t have any staff but are using the app to block people’s money.

Excellent service from the nanny. It was a real struggle to find a good nanny until I came across Supernan and am very happy with the service. The nanny is a class apart from the run of the mill untrained ones we often come across. I can really see the difference. The app however could use a few changes - staying logged in, subscription reminders and ease of log of attendance on the nanny's app would be helpful.

I was struggling to find a good nanny in Bangalore for my 6 month old and this was suggested by someone. To be honest, I was a lil skeptical about using an app for a nanny but decided to give it a try and am very glad I did. :) The Nanny’s are well-trained and polite. I love that I can interview them and book them for a short term trial before committing to long term and that they offer supervision when I’m out of the house so I don’t have to worry too much. I have found a trusted nanny whom I intend to stick to and I will come back to this app for any short term needs (like a weekend out) too. The app itself can sometimes take significant bandwidth for video monitoring, requires location services etc but these are minor things when compared to the service provided which is excellent and much needed for working mothers.
