Ragnarok Origin: ROO

I have been battling for a refund from Apple and Gravity based on poor (non-existent) communication on Gravity’s end, bugs, exploits, and insane RNG. If you try to contact gravity using the in-game reporting, you do not receive a response. No one I’ve spoken to in game has received a response. I was having fun in the beginning reconnecting with friends in this game but as time went on, the game became uncompetitive, glitchy, unfair, and exploitative. I even tried to report a player for harassment (an extreme case of stalking) and got no help from the developer. The tipping point was a tournament help in game and broadcasted live where friends in the tournament were steamrolled by unfair, and unavailable, items in game. The announcers of the stream were also stunned and didn’t know how to proceed with commentary. That was the last straw. Apple said to contact the developer directly using the support button next to the write a review button, but that takes you to gravity’s website with no means to contact them. Outside of hanging out with friends in game, this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in a video game. Even the dungeon bosses have major exploits that make the instances not enjoyable. It becomes a pointless grind at the end of the day. The last supervisor I was in contact with at Apple customer care was very helpful in giving me options of where to complain and get my refund resolved. This is the first of many places I will be sending this information to.

It would cost almost $400 for one mythical outfit piece that’s insane I also Drew I think 60 times so far and got one piece of the outfit from the select costume draw and got a piece from a different costume that wasn’t selected even that’s insane drop rates every time I kill monsters they don’t drop anything so I can’t even craft the clothing pieces that I want. Other than that the gameplay is good and the story is decent. if it was reasonable, I would buy the berries to get the mythical pieces and other stuff but not at the rates currently.

Game was fun when you first start but once you get into higher level content it is pay to win. The gap between a p2w and f2p is so wide, you won’t be able to finish equipment dungeons without the help of a whale or 2 to carry. It is really sad how the game progressed. If you are looking for a game to invest money into with no return or profit, then this is the game for you. Expect to spend thousand of dollars to get to the top of the ranking latter. Like others said, this game is not about your skills, but how much money you spent. After every pack you buy, you will be offered a top up. Odin cup- Interserver was not balanced. They put new servers that had lower level cap against the veteran server with higher cap lvl just to give them the free win. If you still insist on starting this game after getting this far in my review then please do yourself a favor and join the NEWEST server so u have a chance. Otherwise the game mods only really care about their main server PRONTERA. So join that one if u still want to play.
